Privacy Policy

The short version: your images never leave your device. All compression runs in your browser. We do not have a server that receives, stores, or processes your images.

Image data

When you select or drop an image, it is loaded into your browser's memory via createImageBitmap and the Canvas API. Compression, resizing, and preview all happen locally. The compressed result is offered as a download generated in your browser. Closing the tab discards all image data. No image bytes are transmitted to any server.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage (page views, tool interactions). Analytics is configured with IP anonymization. We do not send your image content or filenames to analytics. Analytics may set cookies; you can block them via your browser or a content blocker.

Advertising

This site displays ads via Google AdSense (auto ads only — no manual ad slots). Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings. In the European Economic Area and UK, ad storage is denied by default until you consent.

What we do not do

• We do not upload, store, or transmit your images.
• We do not require an account or collect names/emails (except if you email us directly).
• We do not sell data.
• We do not use your images to train any model.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
